For many children this fall, back-to-school time will not include any music education. Devastating cuts have been made to the arts education branch of the Los Angeles Unified School District (more than 70% in the last three years). Some schools have eliminated music education entirely. In this current academic year, 180,000 elementary school students in Los Angeles will not receive any music education in the classroom.
Help us close this gap. The GRAMMY Museum’s education programs are an effective, impactful and cost-efficient way to reach children. We work closely with teachers and schools to provide and complement music education year-round—via school tours, after-school programs, workshops, summer programs, and much more.
For some kids, it’s the only music education they will get all year. So please join us and help touch more lives with the power of music.
